Ruined Families is a five piece band from Αθήνα, Greece, who formed in 2010.  Ruined Families play a fierce and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and crust within their sound.  Musically, Ruined Families can be loosely compared to bands such as Withers, Glasses, Birds In Row, and Comadre.  Since forming in 2010, Ruined Families have released an eight song LP titled Four Wall Freedom in July of 2010, a four song self-titled 7" in February of 2012, and a nine song LP titled Blank Language in March of 2013.  Education is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Adagio 830 records on November 24th, 2016.  On Education, Ruined Families offer up ten tracks of raging and chaotic hardcore, punk, crust.  Overall, Education makes for an amazing listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

"Blank Language" is the follow-up LP to Ruined Families' fierce debut "Four Wall Freedom". The Greek hardcore punk band, finding itself standing in the midst of an urban wasteland of social unrest, utilizes and reverses the surrounding generalized fear for open approaches, in order to develop a widespread sonic angle on this new record. While their 1st record and 7" were more straight-ahead hardcore, this new LP is WAY MORE atmospheric, with brief flashes of post-rock & screamo, but still hardcore at heart. Think Young And In The Way meets Sonic Youth. The band is getting ready to start a Oct/Nov European tour in a few days, check their Facebook page for dates.
