Thurm-S/T LP (2015)

Country: Germany
Genre: Hardcore, Punk, Crust, Black Metal, Screamo
Label: Narshardaa Records
Tracks: 7
Length: 33.0'

I absolutely had to review this LP after seeing it in Adam's bandcamp roundup last week.  Thurm is a four piece band from Germany who formed in early 2015, from the looks of things.  Thurm features members of the sadly defunct Amber as well as members of Anteater.  Thurm play a darkly atmospheric and extremely heavy style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, black metal, and screamo within their sound.  Musically, Thurm can be loosely compared to bands such as Hexis, Deathrite, Old Soul, Celeste, and Rorcal.  This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Narshardaa records on August 10th, 2015.  On their debut LP, Thurm offer up seven tracks of dark, and apocalyptic sounding hardcore, punk, crust, black metal, and screamo.  Overall, this album is amazing and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
