Ekranoplan - Discography

Ekranoplan regularly hangs out in the chat here on the page and when I was doing some discography posts a while back, they reminded me that I have never done one for Ekranoplan, so here it is. They were a band from Jena, Germany that incorporated Grindcore, D-Beat, Doom, Hardcore & Sludge into their sound. They had 3 releases, a Self Titled cassette in 2014, the Hypnopædia LP in 2018 (my personal favorite) and a Split LP with Blacksmoker in 2020. If you don't have all of these releases, you really don't have an excuse because they are all currently Name Your Price on Bandcamp

Ekranoplan is a five piece band from Jena, Germany who formed in early 2015, from the looks of things.  Ekranoplan features members of Hungry Lungs and Ahab.  Ekranoplan play a raw and filthy style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, d-beat, and crust within their sound.  This is Ekranoplan's debut self-titled five song 12", which was released via Narshardaa records on May 8th, 2015.  On their debut 12", Ekranoplan offer up five tracks of scathing and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, d-beat, and crust.  Overall, this is a killer 12" and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Ekranoplan is a killer new crust/doom band from Jena, Germany. They list their influences as Cursed, Rotten Sound, EYEHATEGOD & Disfear. This demo is only 5 songs but is a massive 21+ minute assault combining elements of d-beat, grind, sludge & hardcore. Looking forward to hearing more from them.
