Holy shit!  This rips! Falter is a four piece band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in June of 2012.  Falter play a dark, metallic, gloomy, and vicious as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and grindcore within their sound.  Musically, Falter can be loosely compared to bands such as Converge, Trap Them, Baptists, Trenchfoot, and Svffer.  Since their inception in 2012, Falter have released a self-titled six song demo in October of 2012, a split with Milorganaut in January of 2013, a seven song EP titled Descent in January of 2013, a digital two song single titled Two Spirit/Pur Delusion in January of 2014, a split EP with Boroughs in April of 2015, and a six song EP titled Darker in October of 2015.  Death is the band's latest cassette, which was released via Dissonant Society records on March 9th, 2018.  On On Death, Falter offer up eight new tracks of blackened, metallic, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and powerviolence.  Overall, Death is an amazing EP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Here's a split recording between BOROUGHS and FALTER that came out March 27 on Hydrogen Man Records. Falter is from Milwaukee, WI and play the type of pissed off hardcore punk that you would expect to find on this blog. And Boroughs, from Philadelphia, PA, sound even more pissed off and a little more chaotic, adding aspects of grind and powerviolence to their side of the split. So it's a win/win as far as I'm concerned. The record is limited to 300 on black vinyl with hand numbered jackets and you can order it at the Hydrogen Man Records Bandcamp page.
