Colonial Wound is a band from Jacksonville, Florida who formed in 2018, by the looks of things.  Colonial Wound features members of Yashira, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special.  Colonial Wound play a brutal and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, and metal within their sound.  Musically, Colonial Wound can be loosely compared to bands such as Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, Engineer, Breather Resist, Achilles, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2018, Colonial Wound have released a self-titled five song EP in July of 2020.  Degradation  is the band's latest EP, which was released via New Morality Zine records on April 16th, 2020.  On Degradation, Colonial Wound offer up three tracks of chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding post hardcore, metal, and noise rock.  Overall, Degradation makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
