Moper is a three piece band from Cove, United Kingdom, who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Formerly known as Secret Black Boyfriend,  Moper play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, noise rock, and alt. rock within their sound.  Musically, Moper can be said to be influenced by bands such as Polvo, Unwound, Shellac, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2014, Moper have released an EP titled The Ham Contest, a six song EP titled Secret Black Boyfriend in December of 2014, an eight song LP titled This Is What Happens When Everyone Wins A Trophy in February of 2016, as well as two singles in 2016.  An Altar Of Nothing, Erected For No One is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via My Father's Fist records on January 27th, 2017.  On An Altar Of Nothing, Erected For No One, Moper offer up eight tracks of tense and moody sounding punk, noise rock, and alt. rock.  Overall, An Altar Of Nothing, Erected For No One makes for a great listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
