Gonemage is a one piece band from Dallas, Texas who began composing music in 2020.  Gonemage is a side project of Gary Brents from Cara Neir, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special.  Gonemage play a progressive and forward-thinking style of music that incorporates elements of avant-garde black metal, post metal, black metal, and blackgaze, that essentially is a continuation of where Cara Neir was heading with the video game themed album Phase Out.  Mystical Extraction is the band's debut EP, which was released on May 7th, 2021.  On Mystical Extraction, Gonemage offer up six tracks of avant-garde black metal, post metal, black metal, and blackgaze.  Overall, Mystical Extraction makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Great stuff!  Enjoy!
