so here lately ive kind of backed off the black metal. kind of. just a break really. been on a pink Floyd/david Gilmour/primus kick. none of that has anything to do with ten masked men. this is pretty much a death metal version of me first and the gimme gimmes. all covers of current and past pop/rock songs. yes. Child Meadow is a two piece band from Toulon, France who formed in 2009.  Child Meadow play a late 90's inspired style of hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  Since forming in 2009, Child Meadow have released a self-titled five song demo in November of 2009, a five song 7" titled Rad in November of 2010, a twelve song LP titled Crispy BBQ Tofu Burger in November of 2011, and a split LP with Remek in January of 2012.  It Hurts is the band's latest eight song LP which was released on July 9th, 2016 and is expected to be released via IFB, Désertion, Crapoulet, Bus Stop Press, Emotionally Unstable, Dingleberry, La Cellule, Mosh Potatoes, Music For Liberation, Prejudice Me, Ours, Pundonore, and Emergence Records sometime in early 2017.  On It Hurts, Child Meadow offer up eight tracks of discordant and tense sounding hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  Overall, It Hurts makes for a killer listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Here's a killer split LP featuring music from The Netherlands' Lawine and The Czech Republic's Remek.  Lawine is a four piece band from Nijmegen, Netherlands who formed in 2013.  Lawine play a tense and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  Since forming in 2013, Lawine have released a self-titled six song EP in January of 2013 and an eight song LP titled '15 in February of 2015.  On their side of the split Lawine offer up three tracks of discordant and tense sounding hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  The second four songs on the split come courtesy of Remek.  Remek is a four piece band from Hlavní město Praha, Czech Republic, who formed in 2011.  Remek urgent sounding, tense, and frantic sounding hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Since forming in 2011, Remek have released a two song EP titled Compilations in July of 2011, a four song demo 7" in July of 2011, a two song flexi 7" in August of 2011, a split LP with Child Meadow in March of 2012, a 3-way split LP with Paperplanecrash and Child Meadow in April of 2013, and a self-titled eight song LP in May of 2014.  On their side of the split, Remek offer up four tracks of tense and discordant sounding hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Overall, this is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  This LP was released via Rope Or Guillotine records on October 7th, 2016.

Pg. 99, Love Lost, But Not Forgotten, Majority Rule, Orchid, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2015, .Gif From God have released a two track winter tour cassette in January of 2016 and an eight song EP titled Defragmented, Reformatted in July of 2016.  On their side of the split, .Gif From God offer up two tracks of chaotic and volatile as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, screamo, and grindcore.  Vein is a four piece band from Boston, MA who formed in early 2013, from the looks of things.  Vein play a volatile, chaotic, and brutal as fuck style of noise damaged hardcore.  Musically, Vein can be loosely compared to bands such as Jerome's Dream, Jesuit, Orchid, Black Kites, Furnace, and Relics.  Since forming in 2013, Vein have released a five song self-titled EP in Julyof 2013, a five song EP titled Terrors Realm in June of 2015, and a three song demo on May 30th, 2016.  On their side of the split, Vein offer up four tracks of killer noise damaged hardcore.  Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
