Wound Man is a four piece band from New Bedford, MA who formed in 2013. Wound Man features members of Mind Eraser and Breathing Fire, son going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Wound Man play a brutal, chaotic, and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and powerviolence within their sound. Since forming in 2013, Wound Man have released a ten song cassette titled Shell Drifter Sessions in August of 2013, a five song EP titled Cage Session in November of 2014, contributed a track to the Sick Of Things The Way They Are compilation in May of 2017, a three song EP titled Rolled in June of 2016, a nine song LP titled Perimeter in July of 2016, a five song EP titled Fever Session in July of 2016, provided a track for the Iron Lung Mix Tape III compilation in May of 2017, a seven song EP titled Abstraction in October of 2017, and a seven song EP titled Unhinged in November of 2017. Prehistory is the band's latest EP, which was released via Iron Lung records on April 27th, 2017. On Prehistory, Wound Man offer up nine tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. Overall, Prehistory makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
