Barishi is a four piece band from Brattleboro, Vermont who formed in 2010.  Barishi play a gritty and sludgy style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, sludge, doom, death metal, and stoner metal within their sound.  Barishi can beloosely compared to bands such as Lightbearer, Junior Bruce, Hollow Leg, Ether, The Ditch And The Delta, Burrows, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2010, Barishi have released a four song EP titled Endless Howl in January of 2015 and an eight song LP titled Blood From The Lion's Mouth in September of 2016.  Old Smoke is the band's latest LP which was self-released via Season Of Mist records on April 24th, 2020.  On Old Smoke, Barishi offer up six tracks of brilliantly executed post metal, sludge, doom, stoner metal, and death metal.  Overall, Old Smoke makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
