V-Sect is a four piece band from Rhode Island who formed in  2014.  V-Sect play a brutal and volatile as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, d-beat, crust, and death metal within their sound.  Musically, V-Sect can be loosely compared to bands such as Wound Man, Fucking Invincible, Dropdead, Rot In Hell, Vegas, Integrity, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2014, V-Sect have released a self-titled four song demo in October of 2014, a three song cassette titled Death Is Nature's Only Promise in March of 2015, and a seven song 10" titled Nature's Casket in June of 2016.  Ivy is the band's latest four song EP, which was released on September 12th, 2016.  On Ivy, V-Sect offer up four tracks of raw, filthy, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, d-beat, crust, and black metal.  Overall, Ivy is a killer EP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
