Spurn is a band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Spurn play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Spurn can be loosely compared to bands such as Homewrecker, Vaulted, Sectioned, Candy, Fronterier, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Spurn have released a self-titled two song demo in December of 2015 and ten song LP titled Comfort In Nothing in July of 2016. At The Precipice Of Extinction is the band's latest LP, which was released on July 26th, 2019. On At The Precipice Of Extinction, Spurn offer up nine of scathing, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore. Overall, At The Precipice Of Extinction makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
