Pigs is a three piece band from Brooklyn NY who formed in 2008.  Pigs features members of Unsane, Converge, Cave In, Keelhaul, Made Out of Babies, Player's Club, Freshkills, and Hell No.  Pigs play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Pigs can be said to be influenced by bands such as Big Black, Shellac, The Melvins, Helmet, Unsane, and other like-minded bands.  Ruin Everything is Pigs' debut full-length LP, which was released via Solar Flare records on April 11th, 2012.  On Ruin Everything, Pigs offer up eleven tracks of dirty and blown out sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Ruin Everything is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Sofy Major is a three piece band from France who formed in early 2010.  Sofy Major play a great style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, metal, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Sofy Major cite Dead Kennedys, Melvins, Hint, Frodus, Unwound, Godflesh, Barkmarket, High on Fire, Girls Vs. Boys, Neurosis, Napalm Death, and Today is the Day as influences, which can definitely be a good starting point of reference when describing Sofy Major.  Sofy Major's sludgy and noise damaged style of post hardcore also gives nods to 90's AmRep style noise rock as well as the stoner/noise rock sensibilities of bands such as Ken Mode, Big Business, Whores, and Pigs.  Sine their inception in 2010, Sofy Major have released a ten song LP titled Permission To Engage in November of 2010, a split LP with Membrane in November of 2012, and a twelve song LP titled Idolize in in May of 2013.  Waste is Sofy Major's latest full-length LP, which is slated for release via Solar Flare records on October 30th, 2015.  On Waste, Sofy Major offer up nine new tracks of noise damaged and sludge tinged post hardcore that's an absolute must listen for fans of Torche, Ken Mode, and Whores.  Overall, Waste is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Seriously, I can't get enough of this album.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
