Edalene-I'm Still Here EP (2015)

Edalene are a five piece band from Sydney, Australia who formed in February of  2015.  Edalene play a tense, discordant, atmospheric, and at times melodic sounding style of music that mixes equal parts post hardcore, indie rock, post rock, and screamo.  Edalene cite Being As An Ocean, Merchant Ships, Pianos Become The Teeth, and Old Gray influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound.  I'm Still Here is the band's debut three song EP, which was self-released via Bandcamp on May 1st, 2015.  On their debut, Edalene offer up three songs of really well played post hardcore, indie rock, screamo, and indie rock that's an absolute must listen for fans of Frameworks, My Fictions, and We Were Skeletons.  Overall, I'm Still Here is a great EP.  Can't wait to hear more from these guys.

Toska-EP I (2014)

Toska is a five piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2013, from the looks of things.  Toska features members of Hot Cross, Nema, The Scarlet Letter, Monster X, Stations, To Tremble, Stockpile, and Tigon.  Toska play a killer style of modern hardcore that can be closely compared to bands such as Black Kites, Host, Capacities, and Mean Man's Dream.  This is the band's debut six track cassette, which was self-released by the band on May 30th, 2014.  On their debut EP, Toska offer up six tracks of blistering, raging, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore.  Seriously, Toska is tight as fuck and should not be missed.  Hope to hear more from these dudes soon.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Ravin-S/T EP (2014)

Ravin is a five piece band from Perpignan, France who formed in 2013.  Ravin play a killer style of music that blurs the lines between hardcore, punk, black metal, crust, and screamo.  Musically, Ravin can be loosely compared to bands such as Black Everest, Todos Caeran, Totem Skin, and Toska.  This is Ravin's debut ten song EP, which was self-released by the band on compact disc on February 9th, 2014.  On their debut EP, Ravin offer up ten tracks of really top notch sounding music that impressively mixes up hardcore, punk, black metal, crust, and screamo.  Look for Ravin to drop their new album which is going to be titled II on April 15th, 2015.  II is going to be released via Zegema Beach, Sad Panda, Winter Sea, and Unlock Yourself records.  In the meantime, check out Ravin's first album.  You'll be glad you did.  Enjoy!

Hoof-The Seraph Of Saturn EP (2015)

Hoof is a three piece doom, sludge, and stoner rock band from Fairmont, West Virginia.  Hoof formed from the ashes of Open Graves.  Musically, Hoof can be said to be influenced by bands such as Old Man Gloom, Doom Riders, Sweet Cobra, and other like-minded bands.  The Seraph Of Saturn is the band's debut five song EP, which was self-released by the band on March 30th, 2015.  On their debut EP, Seraph offer up five tracks of raw, gritty, and dirty as fuck sounding doom, sludge, and stoner rock.  Overall, Seraph Of Saturn is a mammoth of an EP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

PDC-Demo (2015)

PDC is a relatively new hardcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, who formed in January 2014.  PDC features members of Dead In The Dirt and Foundation, so by going on that alone, you know you're in for something special.  PDC play a blistering and caustic style of bare bones hardcore influenced by bands such as Left For Dead, Haymaker, Infest, and Negative.  On their debut seven track demo, PDC shred their way through seven tracks in a little over eight tracks.  Overall, PDC have absolutely nailed it on their latest demo.  The demo was released by the band digitally via bandcamp on March 12th, 2015.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
