Destruction Unit is a five piece band from Phoenix, Arizona who formed in the early 2000's.  Destruction Unit was originally conceived by members of the Reatards and other notable punk bands.  Since then, Destruction Unit's line-up has completely changed.  Destruction Unit play a dark and bleak style of music that seamlessly melds elements of punk, post punk, death rock, and desert rock within their sound.  Negative Feedback Resistor is Destruction Unit's latest full-length LP, which was released via Sacred Bones records on September 18th, 2015.  On Negative Feedback Resistor, Destruction Unit deliver eight tracks of dark, feedback and reverb drenched punk, post punk, desert rock, and death rock.  Overall, Negative Feedback Resistor is an amazing album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Institute is a band from Austin, Texas who formed in late 2013.  Institute feature members of Glue, Wiccans, and back to back.  Institute play a killer style of punk filtered through a hefty dose of 70's garage rock and early post punk.  Musically, Institute call to mind bands such as the MC5, New York Dolls, The Stooges, The Wipers, Wire, and other classic punk bands.  Since their inception in 2013, Institute have released a self-titled demo 12" in October of 2013, a three song 7" titled Giddy Boys in June of 2014, and a five song 12" EP titled Salt in October of 2014.  Catharsis is Institute's debut full-length LP, which was released via Sacred Bones records on June 9th, 2015.  On their latest LP, Institute offer up ten songs of politically charged punk, post punk, and garage rock that's an absolute must listen for fans of Hot Snakes, Highway Cross, The Golden Boys, and Crisis.  Overall, Catharsis is a killer album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
