Joyeater is a four piece band from St. Petersburg, Florida who formed in 2017, from the looks of things.  Joyeater  features a member of Vacancy, so going by that alone, you know you're n for some killer tunes.  Joyeater play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, grunge, garage rock, and noise rock within their sound.  This is the band's debut demo, which was released on August 18th, 2018.  On debut demo, Joyeater offer up three tracks of energetic, tense, and discordant sounding post punk, punk, grunge, garage rock, and noise rock.  Overall, Joyeater's demo makes for an awesome listen and is definitely worth checking out.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Gazzan-Extinction EP (2016)

Holy shit.  This EP is probably one of the best releases I've heard all week.  Gazzan is a five piece band from Cleveland, Ohio who formed in early 2016 from the looks of things.  Gazzan features Aaron and Lenny Melnick, formerly of the legendary Integrity and were responsible for some of Integrity's best albums.  Gazzan also features members of American Werewolves and Bowel.  Gazzan play a powerful and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and metal within their sound.  The "Holy Terror" Clevo-style signature sound is definitely present with Gazzan, but that only scratches the surface as far as the band's sound and style is concerned.  Gazzan also features a depth of technicality and complexity that fills out the band's sound and style. Touches of melodic sensibility completes the package and results in a dense, dark, ominous, and brutal listen.  Extinction is Gazzan's debut four song EP, which was released on July 12th, 2016.  On their debut four song offering, Gazzan pummel the listener with four tracks of brutal, powerful,, complex, and foward-thinking hardcore, punk, and metal that's an absolutemust listen for fans of Fulgora, Xaphan, and other like-minded bands.  Overall, this EP absolutely rips and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

(Den) Halshug-Bodets Band LP (2015)

Halshug are a three piece band from Copenhagen, Denmark who formed in 2013.  Halshug translates into Behead in English, so going on that alone, you know your in for a truly brutal sounding band from the start.  Halshug play a blistering, caustic, and ultra negative style of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat.  Musically, Halshug can be loosely compared to bands such as Martyr Dod, Oliterations, Impalers, and other like-minded bands.  Bodets Band is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on February 25th, 2015.  On their debut full-length, Halshug offer up ten tracks of brilliantly executed hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat.  With the entire album clocking in at about 17 minutes, you know this album is devastating and brutal as fuck.  Overall, Bodets Band is a phenomenal album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
