Primal Rite is a five piece band from San Francisco, CA who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things. Primal Rite play a raw and filthy style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and thrash within their sound. Musically, Primal Rite can be loosely compared to bands such as Impalers, Warcry, Integrity, Ringworm, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in early 2016, Primal Rite have released a two song 7" titled Pestilent Clutch in February of 2016, a three song EP titled Sensory Link To Pain in March of 2017, and a digital single titled Bow To No One in December 0f 2017. Dirge Of Escapism is the band's debut LP, which was released via Revelation records on January 26th, 2018. On Dirge Of Escapism, Primal Rite offer up ten tracks of metal/thrash infused hardcore. Overall, Dirge Of Progression makes for a killer listen and are an absolute must listen for fans of Integrity, Power Trip, Noisem, and Mammoth Grinder. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
