Malevich is a four piece band from Atlanta, Georgia who formed in 2016. Malevich features former members of Juna, Pallow, Nurture, Some Mistakes, and Under a Sky So Blue. Malevich play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, black metal, sludge, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Malevich can be loosely compared to bands such as Euth, Infant Island, Cloud Rat, Portrayal Of Guilt, Cult Leader, WVRM, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Malevich have released a ten song LP titled Only The Flies in August of 2016 and a split 7" with Iron Gag in May of 2018. Our Hollow is the band's latest LP, which is slated for release via Middle-Man, Fremen Death Commando, Sludgelord, Zegema Beach, and Dead Red Queen Records on October 25th, 2019. On Our Hollow, Malevich offer up nine tracks of vicious, chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, screamo, black metal, sludge, and grindcore. Overall, Our Hollow makes for an amazing listen and definitely will end up as being one of my favorite albums of the year. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
