Named after the infamous St. Mary of Bethlehem insane asylum in London, and Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Show of Bedlam play an ominous, psychotic, and crazed blend of doom metal, sludge, noise rock, post-punk, no-wave, goth, and industrial - stitching together a sonic palette of unbelievable evocative force and of sublime destructive prowess. With an insane and sprawling plethora of musical influences ranging from Swans, Godflesh, Sonic Youth, Babes in Toyland, Lydia Lunch, Melvins, and Burning Witch, to Butthole Surfers, Christian Death, The Cure, Bauhaus, Neurosis and beyond, and with cryptic and harrowing  lyrics dealing with subject matter related to mental illness, hospitals, shame, alienation, and mankind’s fate, Show of Bedlam have birthed something monstrous and unforgiving that is at times beautiful, at times hideously ugly, delicate, intimate and terribly wretched at the same time. A true experimental doom colossus for fans of Anatomy of Habit, Indian, Lord Mantis, Swans, Bodychoke, Diamanda Galas, Made Out of Babies, Battle of Mice, and mid-career Neurosis.

Bloodiest is a six piece band from Chicago, Il who formed in 2008.  Bloodiest play an extremely dense, heavy, and a really darkly mesmerizing style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, shoegaze, post rock, and experimental metal within their sound.  Bloodiest features members of Yakuza, Corrections House, Russian Circles, Yob, and Minsk.  Bloodiest's sound is characterized by haunting melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and punctuated by a heaviness that keeps the sound from veering too far into the droning post rock area of experimental metal.  Since their inception in 2008, Bloodiest have released a six song LP titled Descent in March of 2011.  This is Bloodiest's latest self-titled LP, which is slated for release via Relapse records on January 15th, 2016.  On their latest full-length offering, Bloodiest offer up eight tracks of forward thinking post metal, shoegaze, post rock and experimental metal that's an absolute must listen for fans of True Widow and Blood Sun Circle.  Overall, this is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Heat Death are a two piece band from Bunkie, Louisiana who formed in early 2015, from the looks of things.  Heat Death play a chaotic and volatile as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of Noise Rock, Experimental Metal, Post-Hardcore, Math Rock, and Noisecore within their sound.  Musically, Heat Death can be said to be influenced by bands such as Oxes, The Locust, Arab On Radar, and other 31G San Diego style hardcore bands from the late 90's.  Fathers And Mothers/Daughters And Brothers is Heat Death's debut two track EP, which was released on September 11th, 2015.  On Fathers And Mothers/Daughters And Brothers, Heat Death offer up two tracks of chaotic and completely unhinged noise rock, experimental metal, post hardcore, math rock, and noise core.  Overall, this is a really solid EP and well worth checking out.  Enjoy!
