Broken Water is a three piece band from Olympia, WA, who formed in 2009.  Broken Water play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, grunge, and shoegaze within their sound.  Musically, Broken Water can be said to be influenced by bands such as Sonic Youth, Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr. and Gish era Smashing Pumpkins.  Since their inception in 2009, Broken Water have released a self-titled five track demo in April of 2009, an eight song LP titled Whet in March of 2010, a single titled Normal Never Happened in August of 2010, a 7" titled Faux King Vogue in August of 2010, a five song 12" titled Peripheral Star in March of 2011, a ten song LP titled Tempest in March of 2012, and a two song 12" titled Seaside and Sedmikrasy in May of 2012.  Wrought is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Night People records on March 24th, 2015.  On Wrought, Broken Water offer up ten tracks of fuzzed out, distortion heavy punk, post punk, grunge, and shoegaze.  Overall, Wrought is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Broken Water is a three piece shoegaze/indie rock/grunge band from Olympia, Washington who formed in 2008.  Broken Water play a swirling, fuzzed-out, lo-fi style of shoegaze, indie rock, and grunge.  Broken Water's sound is exemplified by a mix of noisy, fuzzed-out guitars paired with a killer 90's alt. rock slant, and melodic vocals.  Broken Water's song themes range from the personal to issues dealing with feminism.  Since their inception in 2008, this amazing power-trio have released a six song demo in 2009, an eight song LP titled Whet in 2010, a single song 7" titled Normal Never Happened in August of 2010, a five song EP titled Peripheral Star in 2011, a two song full-length LP titled Seasde & Sedmikasky in 2012, and a full-Length LP titled Tempest in 2012.  Broken Water is gearing up to release a new full-length LP, which is called Wrought.  Wrought features ten new tracks of killer shoegaze, 90's influenced alt/indie rock, and grunge.  Wrought is being released via Night People records on March 24th.
