gorgonoisid is a three piece band from Frankfurt, Germany who formed in 2008, from the looks of things. gorgonoisid plays a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, metal, sludge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, gorgonoisid can be loosely compared to bands such as Melvins, Unsane, Jesus Lizard, Clutch, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2008, gorgonoisid have released a five song EP titled Gorgonoisid I in December of 2009, a digital single titled Gore Cathodique in December of 2012, a ten song self-titled LP in October of 2015, and a split 7" with Messed in April of 2019. IV is the band's latest LP, which was released on January 13th, 2020. On IV, gorgonoisid offer up nine weird and off-kilter sounding punk, metal, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, IV makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed! Highly recommended! Enjoy!
