Die Hoffnung is a three piece band from Gainesville, Florida who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Die Hoffnung features members of I Hate Myself and Reactionary 3, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Die Hoffnung play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, post punk, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Die Hoffnung can be loosely compared to bands such as Drive Like Jehu, Sinaloa, Old Growth, The Jesus Lizard, Fugazi, I Hate Myself, and other like-minded bands. Elegies and Creation Songs is the band's debut LP, which was released via Belladonna records on December 19th, 2017. On Elegies and Creation Songs, Die Hoffnung offer up nine tracks of killer hardcore, punk, post punk, emo, and indie rock.
