Sweet Jesus are a four piece band from New England who formed in October of 2010. Sweet Jesus features members of Have Heart, Fucking Invincible, Verse, and Soul Control, so going on that alone, you know your in for something special. Sweet Jesus play a killer style of late 80's/early 90's Revolution Summer style hardcore. Musically, Sweet Jesus can be loosely compared to bands such as Swiz, Sweetbelly Freakdown, Give, and Blessed State. Destroy Yourself is Sweet Jesus' latest full-length LP, which was released via Atomic Action! records on March 17th, 2015. On their latest full-length, Sweet Jesus offer up ten tracks of killer late 80's/early 90's emotive hardcore. Guest vocals on Destroy Yourself come courtesy of Shawn Brown from Dag Nasty and Swiz, as well as Andy Norton from Praise. Overall, Destroy Yourself is a killer LP and should not be missed.
