The Only Ghost In Town is a three piece band from southern New Jersey who formed in 2010, from the looks of things.  The Only Ghost In Town play an infectiously catchy style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, lo-fi, indie rock, and dream pop within their sound.  Musically, The Only Ghost In Town can be said to be influenced by bands such as Swirlies, Slowdive, Hum, Built To Spill, Guided By Voices, and other-like minded bands.  Since forming in 2010, The Only Ghost In Town have released a song for the I Know Why They Call It Pop compilation on Rok Lok records in November of 2010, a cover of Hum's Stars in January of 2011, a four song EP titled The Summer Was Over Before It Began in January of 2011, a three song EP titled All The Stars Are For You in February of 2012, a digital single titled False Color Images in September of 2013, a two song 7" titled You Were Right B/W In Your Garden in October of 2014, and a digital single/cover of John Galm's Accident in April of 2015.  Mirage is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on cassette via Broken World Media on November 29th, 2016.  On Mirage, The Only Ghost In Town offer up twelve tracks of killer shoegaze, lo-fi, indie rock, and dream pop.  Overall, Mirage makes for a fantastic listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
