Saint God is a two piece band from Tel Aviv, Israel who formed in 2015.  Saint God play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, post punk, punk, and garage rock within their sound.  Musically, Saint God can be loosely compared to bands such as Broken Water, Diat, The Estranged, Sonic Youth, early A Place To Bury Strangers, and other like-minded bands.  Since their inception in 2015, Saint God have released a three song EP titled Realise in September of 2015 and a ten song LP titled Montefiore in February of 2016.  Narasvette is the band's latest two song EP, which was released on April 6th, 2016.  On their latest two song cassette, Saint God offer up two tracks of dark and gloomy shoegaze, post punk, and dream pop.  Overall, Narasvette is a killer cassette.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

HTSOM, although an obscure noughties-era UK outfit that didn't get out of the South coast area much, were utterly amazing. A crashing, bashing, chaotic agglomeration of old-skool Ebullition styled emo, their live shows were legendary, and not just because they sometimes wore massive afro wigs or the bassist used an old pair of trouwers for a strap. Drummer John recorded this at his own studio, where various luminaries such as Electric Wizard, No, Facel Vega, Hunting Lodge and Field Boss have also recorded. HTSOM were in fact slated to do a split with Electric Wizard at one point. This lp compiles their demo and 5 unreleased tracks which are just too good to be unheard  (Press Note)

Bardus is a three piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2011.  Bardus play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, noise rock, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Bardus can be said to be influenced by bands such as Melvins, Big Business, Jesus Lizard, Eyehategod, Fight Amp, and The Catalyst.  Since their inception in 2011, Bardus have released a five song EP titled Pig in December of 2011 and an eight song LP titled Solus in August of 2013.  Stella Porta is the band's latest seven song LP, which was released via Solar Flare and Puddle Jumper Distro. on April 1st, 2016.  On Stella Porta, Bardus offer up seven tracks of killer post hardcore, noise rock, and sludge that's an absolute must listen for fans of Pigs, Ken Mode, and Fight Amp.  Overall, Stella Porta is an amazing LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Canyons is a four piece band from Kansas City, Missouri who formed in 2008.  Canyons play a loud, dirty, and completely blown-out style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, post hardcore, and noise rock.  Canyons can be said to be influenced by bands such as Fight Amp, Coalesce, Botch, Breather Resist, Engineer, and other like-minded bands.  Since their inception in 2008, a three song tour demo in July of 2008, a split with Regret, The Informer in December of 2008, a split with Mons Wolf in July of 2009, a compilation of their earlier material called Rufus Collection in February of 2010, a 3-way split LP titled Can't Have Nothing Nice with Tigon and Foreign Theaters in November of 2010, an most recently, a 6-way split LP with Wounded Knee, Sohns, Anodes, American Thunder Band, and Duck. Little Brother, Duck! in October of 2015.  Collected Volume 1 is the band's latest cassette which essentially compiles songs from their various split releases on to one convenient format.  Overall, Collected Volume is a killer cassette and fans of Canyons will definitely be wanting to pick up a copy to round out your collection.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  Look for Collected Volume 1 to be released via Puddle Jumper Distro. on April 17th, 2016.

so I'm sitting here in ohio where a couple days ago it was70 degrees and today was 50 mph winds and snowing at points. 30 degrees outside right now. I'm running a fever. I'm wrapped up in a blanket and currently have what feels like a cow sitting on my chest and have some leakage from the nostrils that appears to some kind of soquid. it leaks. turns crusty. it leaks some more. awesome. been in a black metal mood lately. lots of order of the vulture. the ives "abandon" demo. currently have gaul (seriously check that shit out) in the earbuds. healthy doses of darkthrone, craft, and Carpathian forest too. I think the cover above tells you what youre getting into here. black metal played by punks. plenty of leather. no corpse paint. just some fun little ditties to sing along with the family on your way to church. theres an oncoming candlemass storm. wanted to get this up before I'm consumed by a week of the best renaissance fair metal on the planet.
