Wormwood is a four piece band from Boston, MA who formed in 2012.  Wormwood features members of Doomriders, The Red Chord, and phantom Glue, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special.  Wormwood play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, doom, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Wormwood can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Neurosis, Unearthly Trance, and other like-minded bands.  Mooncurse is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Translation Loss records on October 20th, 2017.  On Mooncurse, Wormwood offer up seven tracks of ominous and bleak sounding black metal, doom, and sludge.  Overall, Mooncurse makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Wormwood is a four piece band from Regina/Saskatchewan, Canada who formed early 2015 from the looks of things.  Wormwood, not to be confused by Wormwood on Magic Bullet records play an extremely chaotic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, emoviolence, powerviolence, and noisecore within their sound.  Musically, Wormwood can be said to be influenced by bands such as Orchid, Resurrectionists, Republic Of Dreams, Lich, and The Gentle Art Of Chokin'.  This is the band's debut nine song LP, which was released digitally via bandcamp on October 11th, 2015.  These nine songs were recorded live on August 16th, 2015.  On their self-titled debut, Wormwood offer up nine tracks of chaotic and completely unhinged sounding hardcore, punk, emoviolence, powerviolence, and noisecore.  Overall, this is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
