Snag is a four piece band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things.  Snag play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emo within their sound.  Musically, Snag can be loosely compared to early 2000's Ebullition records style screamo bands such as Torches To Rome, Bread And Circuits, Amber Inn, as well as more modern style emotive hardcore/screamo bands such as The Saddest Landscape, We Were Skeletons, and Old Gray.  This is the band's debut self-titled EP, which was released on May 2nd, 2017.  On their self-titled debut, Snag offer up six tracks of really well played emotive hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Overall, this EP makes for a really great listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Tyranny Is Tyranny is a three piece band from Madison, Wisconsin who formed in February of 2012.  Tyranny Is Tyranny features former members of The United Sons Of Toil and play a politically charged style of post hardcore and post rock.  Musically, Tyranny Is Tyranny can be said to be influenced by bands such as The Appleseed Cast, Unwound, City Of Caterpillar, Refused, and Funeral Diner.  Since their inception in 2012, Tyranny Is Tyranny have released a five song EP titled Manufacturing Truth in June of 2013, and a seven song LP titled Let It Come From Whom It May in November of 2013.  The Rise Of Disaster Capitalism is Tyranny Is Tyranny's latest full-length LP, which was released on June 13th, 2015.  The Rise Of Capitalism is based on the novel The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein and features five tracks of tense and urgent sounding politically charged post hardcore/post rock.  Overall, The Rise Of Disaster Capitalism is an amazing album and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Speaker Eater are a three piece band from Wausau, Wisconsin who formed in July of 2010.  Speaker Eater play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, metal, doom, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Speaker Eater can be said to be influenced by bands such as Old Man Gloom, Kowloon Walled City, Ken Mode, Thou, and Tigon.  Since, their inception in 2010, Speaker Eater have released a five song self-titled EP in November of 2011 and a four song EP titled Lords in August of 2012.  Ships Out Of Water is the band's latest seven song LP, which was released via Minneconsin records on April 7th, 2015.  On their latest LP, Speaker Eater offer up seven tracks of amazing hardcore, metal, doom, and sludge.  Overall, Ships Out Of Water is killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
