Video Duct is a three piece hardcore.punk band from Goleta, California who formed in late 2014, by the looks of things. Video Duct play a weird, discordant, and off-kilter style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, and noise rock within their sound. As far as musical comparisons, Video Duct can be loosely compared to bands such as Behavior, Diat, Institute, Brown Sugar, and other like minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Video Duct have released an eleven song LP titled Human Hate in March of 2015, a seven song EP titled Raw Teenage Live in June of 2016, a single titled Inner Self-Process in December of 2016, a two song EP titled Death/Meat Sweats in April of 2017, a two song EP titled Self-Care Sleep in June of 2017, and a live LP titled Live In Protocol in February of 2017. Small Pets (And Kitchenettes) is the band's latest full-length LP, which is slated to be released on an album to be announced in the near future. On Small Pets (And Kitchenettes), Video Duct offer up ten tracks of noisy, blown-out, and discordant sounding punk, post punk, and noise rock. Overall, Small Pets (And Kitchenettes) makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
