The You And What Army Faction is a four piece band from Athens, Greece who formed in 2009, from the looks of things. The You And What Army Faction play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, no-wave, and death rock within their sound. Musically, The You And What Army Faction can be said to be influenced by bands such as Joy Division, The Birthday Party, Echo And The Bunnymen, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, and The Ukiah Drag. Since their inception in 2009, The You And What Army Faction have released an eleven song LP titled Fixx in November of 2009. a three song EP titled Vent in March of 2012, a three song 7" titled Silk in July of 2012, a five song EP titled Slit in September of 2013, and a ten song LP titled Glum in April of 2015. Rite is the band's latest nine song LP, which was released via Sweetohm recordings on February 20th, 2017.
