Ajax is a hardcore band from NYC who formed in late 2013, by the looks of things. Ajax is a "supergroup" of sorts and features current and former member of CREEM, Warthog, and Nuclear Spring. Ajax play a brutal as fuck sounding style of no-frills modern hardcore. Ajax has bee described by some as being a mixture of early 80's USHC with riffs reminiscent of Swedish classic hardcore/punk bands such as Totalitär. Since their inception in late 2013, Ajax have released a demo cassette titled Bleach For Breakfast and a self-titled 7" on Katorga Works in December of 2014. This is Ajax's latest four track 7", which follows on the heels of their last 7" released through Katorga Works. On their latest 7", Ajax offer up four new tracks of blistering and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore that is an absolute must listen for fans of Hoax, Warthog, Boston Strangler, and Chain Rank. Overall, this is a killer 7" and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! Ajax's latest 7" was released via Static Shock records on June 1st, 2015.
