Ancst is a four piece band from Berlin, Germany who formed in 2011.  Ancst play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, black metal, and crust within their sound.  Musically, Ancst can be loosely compared to bands such as Svffr, Throwers, Direwolves, Seizures, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2011, Ancst have released a three song demo in August of 2012, a two song cassette titled the Humane Condition in April of 2013, appeared on the Miss The Stars compilation in June of 2013, a two song cdr titled Lamenting A Dying World in August of 2013, a split LP with Hiveburner in August of 2013, a split with Smutecni Slavnost in January of 2014, a split with D/AA/D in May of 2014, a four song EP titled Taima in September of 2014, a compilation of out of print early material titled In Turmoil in August of 2014, a split with AST in March of 2015, a two song EP titled Dark Space Clutter in October of 2015, and appeared on the Into The Vortex compilation in March of 2016.  Moloch is the band's latest full-length LP, which released via Halo Of Flies and Vendetta records on April 15th, 2016.  On Moloch, Ancst offer up ten tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding blackened and crust tinged modern hardcore.  Overall, Moloch is an incredible album and should should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  Seriously, I can't get enough of this album.  Enjoy!

Kill Yourself-Prism Songs LP (2013)

Kill Yourself were a three piece band from Bradford, United Kingdom who existed from 2001-2005.  Kill Yourself played a killer style of music that incorporated elements of hardcore, punk, post hardcore, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Kill Yourself can be said to be described as being influenced by bands Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Fugazi, and Hammerhead, Cows, and other 90's AM REP/Touch And Go records style bands.  Kill Yourself featured an angular and discordant style with blown out guitar work, jagged basslines, and killer drum beats, topped off with vocals akin to Fugazi era Ian Mckaye.  Prism Songs was originally recorded in 2002 and unearthed in 2013.  Prism Songs was released via Obscene Baby Auction records on September 23rd, 2013.  On Prism Songs, Kill Yourself offer up ten tracks of frenetic sounding hardcore, punk, post hardcore, and noise rock.  Overall, Prism Songs is a killer LP that sounds amazing, considering that these songs are over 13 years old.  Highly recommended!
