NEEDS is a five piece band from Vancouver, British Columbia who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. NEEDS play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, NEEDS can be loosely compared to bands such as Drive Like Jehu, 30 Second Motion Music, Mustangs And Madras, The Joan Benet, My America Is Watching Tigers Die, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2012, NEEDS have released a five song EP titled The Accursed Share in September of 2012 and a four song EP titled Rare Earths in May of 2013, and a self-titled LP in May of 2015. Limitations is the band's second LP, which was released via File Under Music records on June 22nd, 2018. On Limitations, NEEDS offer up twelve tracks of ugly, chaotic, and completely blown out sounding post hardcore, punk, and noise rock. Overall, Limitations makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
