Mammock is a four piece band from Athens, Greece who formed in 2019, from the looks of things.  Mammock play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post punk, art rock, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Mammock can be loosely compared to bands such as Unsane, Jesus Lizard, Ken Mode, Coil Guns, and other like-minded bands.  Itch is the band's debut LP, which was released on January 1st, 2020.  On Itch, Mammock offer up six tracks of killer post hardcore, post punk, art rock, and noise rock.  Overall, Itch makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

so here we are, the 9th day into 2020 and i'm calling it. this is the album of the year. any and all releases planned for the year can be cancelled or put on hold until 2021. it's not even up for for debate. whatever you were hoping for this year will be crap compared to mammock. this is like the best that the jesus lizard and shellac have ever offered up with occasional influences from "the battle of los angeles" era ratm and the mars volta (back when they were good) showing their ugly teeth. hell even tom waits, dick dale, and john zorn make an appearance. athena knows whats up in her city. pray to her now and thank her.
