Maeth is a five piece band from Minneapolis, Minnesota who formed in 2011.  Maeth play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, and stoner metal within their sound.  Since forming in 2011, Maeth have released a five song EP titled Horse Funeral in August of 2012, a ten song LP titled Oceans Into Ashes in September of 2013, and a five song LP titled Shrouded Mountain in October of 2016.  Whaling Village is the band's latest LP, which was released via Minnesconsin records on June 13th, 2018.  On Whaling Village, Maeth offer up three tracks of psychedelic, atmospheric, and mostly instrumental post metal, doom, and stoner metal.  Overall, Whaling Village makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Maeth is a five piece band from St. Paul, Minnesota who formed in 2011 from the looks of things.  Maeth play an ominous, oppressive, atmospheric, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of doom, sludge, grunge, stoner rock, and post rock within their sound.  Musically, Maeth can be said to be influenced by bands such as Torche, Tombs, Neurosis, Eyehategod, Ancient Sky, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, and Russian Circles.  Since forming in 2011, Maeth have released a five song LP titled Horse Funeral in August of 2012 and an eleven song LP titled Oceans Into Ashes in September of 2013.  Shrouded Mountain is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Minneconsin records on October 28th, 2016.  On Shrouded Mountain, Maeth offer up five tracks of oppressive, hauntingly atmospheric, and bleak sounding doom, sludge, grunge, stoner rock, and post rock.  Overall, Shrouded Mountain makes for a killer listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
