Kolossor is a three piece band from New Jersey who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Kolossor features members of Philadelphia based metal and sludge acts Swarm Of Arrows, Wizard Eye, and Meatplow. Kolossor play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, sludge, and stoner metal within their sound. Musically, Kolossor can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Buzzoven, Junior Bruce, Batillus, Hollow Leg, and Northless. Since forming in 2017, Kolossor have released a three song, self-titled EP in May of 2017 and a ten song LP titled Crown Of Horns in April of 2018. Sky Became Darkest is the band's latest EP, which was released on July 12th, 2019. On Sky Became Darkest, Kolossor offer up six tracks of brutal and sludgy as fuck sounding post metal, doom, sludge, and stoner metal. Overall, Sky Became Darkest absolutely rips and is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
