Ex-Gods are a five piece band from Tacoma, Washington, who formed in 2009. Ex-Gods were formerly known as Manhammer and released a seven song LP under that moniker in February of 2011. Ex-Gods play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, grunge, sludge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Ex-Gods can be loosely compared to bands such as Bummer, Whores, War Brides, Pigs, Fight Amp, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2009, Ex-Gods have released a a self-titled EP in May of 2015 and a three song EP titled House Of Hidden Snakes in April of 2018. Post-Sabbatical, 2nd Ed. is the band's final live LP, which was released on April 30th, 2020. On Post-Sabbatical, 2nd Ed., Ex-Gods offer up eighteen tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, grunge, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Post-Sabbatical, 2nd Ed. makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
