Shifting is a three piece band from Dublin, Ireland who formed in 2016, from the looks of things.  Shifting play a tense, discordant, and volatile sounding mix of post punk, grunge, and noise rock.  Musically, Shifting can be loosely compared to bands such as Ken Mode, Unsane, The Jesus Lizard, McLusky, Big Black, Multicult, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2016, Shifting have released a split 7"with Gummige in May of 2017.  It Was Good is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Constant Disappointment, Permafrost, Whosbrain, Gabu, and Assos Y Song records on August 24th, 2020.  On It Was Good, Shifting offer up ten tracks of tense, discordant, and volatile sounding post punk, grunge, and noise rock.  Overall, It Was Good makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Fontaines D.C. are a five piece band from Dublin, Ireland who formed 2016, from the looks of things.  Fontaines D.C. play a tense, moody, and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, garage rock, indie rock, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Fontaines D.C. can be loosely compared to bands such as Idles, Moaning, Bloc Party, Ice Age, Interpol, Death Bells, and other like-minds.  Since forming in 2016, Fontaines D.C. have released a two song EP titled Chequeless Reckless/Boys In The Better Land in August of 2018, a two song EP titled Too Real in November of 2018, and an eleven song LP titled Dogrel in April of 2019.  A Hero's Death is the band's latest LP, which was released via Partisan records on July 31st, 2020.  On A Hero's Death, Fontaines D.C. offer up eleven tracks of tense, moody, and discordant sounding post punk, punk, garage rock, indie rock, and noise rock.  Overall, A Hero's Death makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Leroy-Wretch EP (2020)

Leroy is a four piece band from Dublin, Ireland who formed in 2017, from the looks of things.  Leroy play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, metal, grunge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Leroy can be loosely compared to bands such as Unsane, early Helmet, Ken Mode, Bummer, Faking, Pigs, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2017, Leroy have released a self-titled demo in November of 2017 and a self-titled four song EP in November of 2018.  On Wretch, Leroy offer up three tracks of ugly and filthy sounding punk, grunge, and noise rock.  Overall, Wretch makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Disguise is a four piece band from Dublin, Ireland who formed in 2012.  Disguise play a dirty, blown-out, and blistering as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, d-beat, and crust within their sound.  Musically, Disguise can be loosely compared to band such as No Power, Church Whip, Oiltanker, Impalers, and other like-minded bands.  Since their inception in 2012, Disguise have released a self-titled nine song demo in July of 2012, a seven song 7" titled System Shock in November of 2013, and an eight song 12" titled Signs Of The Future in July of 2015.  Bas Fada is the band's latest EP, which was released via Static Shock records on March 8th, 2019.  On Bas Fada, Disguise offer up six tracks of killer hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat that's an absolute must listen for fans of this genre of music.  Overall, Bas Fada  makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
