Chain Whip are a four piece band from Vancouver, British Columbia who formed in 2017. Chain Whip play a vicious and ugly style of hardcore/punk. Musically, Chain Whip can be loosely compared to bands such as Career Suicide, The Repos, Rash, The Lowest Form, Gag, S.H.I.T., and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Chain Whip have released four song "Christmas" demo in December of 2017, a self-titled five song EP in July of 2018, and a fourteen song LP titled 14 Lashes in July of 2019. This is the band's latest self-titled demo, which was released on July 16th, 2020. On their latest demo, Chain Whip offer up eight tracks of vicious, ugly, and ultra negative sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, Chain Whip's latest demo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
