Khariot is a two piece band from Perth, Australia who formed in 2008.  Khariot play a dark, atmospheric, and brutal as fuck style of music that incoporates elements of post metal, black metal, and doom within their sound.  Musically, Khariot can be said to be influenced by bands such as Keelhaul, Burnt By The Sun, Liturgy, and Alter Of Plagues.  Since their inception in 2008, Khariot have released an eleven song LP titled Disymposium in March of 2011.  Esoteric is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on January 23rd, 2015.  On Esoteric, Khariot offer up seven tracks of brutal and mathy post metal, black metal, and doom.  Overall, Esoteric is really a unique listen and really makes for a refreshing listen as far as black metal and doom is concerned.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

My Disco is a three piece band from Melbourne, Australia who formed in 2003.  My Disco play a harsh and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, industrial pop, and noise rock within their sound.  Since their inception in 2003, My Disco have released multiple LPs with a sound that has progressed a lot since their early post hardcore leanings early on in their career.

MY DISCO have always employed space as an instrument. Space between notes; space between instruments; even space between albums, as the Australian trio prepare to release Severe, their first full-length record in nearly five years. More than just a title, Severe pushes MY DISCO’s subtle, intensely focused, minimalist sound to its most terrifying extreme. It is bleak, occasionally uncomfortable, and unpredictably profound. Severe is an album of aggravated tonal darkness and long breaths of disturbing silence, punctuated by pounding stabs and heavy, hypnotic rhythms. Severe is My Disco's latest full-length LP, which was released via Temporary Residence Ltd on October 30th, 2015.  On Severe, My Disco offer up eight tracks dark, stark and bleak sounding post punk, noise rock, and industrial pop that is difficult to describe and almost impossible to pigeonhole.  Overall, Severe is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
