Altarage is a four piece band from Bilbao, Spain who formed in 2015. Altarage play a raw, dirty, and filthy style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Altarage can be loosely compared to bands such as Mutilation Rites, Barghest, Fistula, Primitive Man, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Altarage have released a two song demo titled MMXV in September of 2015 and an eight song LP titled Nihil in February of 2016. Endinghent is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Season Of Mist records on October 13th, 2017. On Endinghent, Altarage offer up eight tracks of dark, oppressive, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Endinghent makes for a killer listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
