Policy Of Truth is a four piece band from Vancouver, British Columbia who formed in 2016.  Policy Of Truth play a venomous and scathing style of stripped down hardcore, punk.  Musically, Policy Of Truth can be said to be influenced by bands such as Infest, Negative Approach, Haymaker, and Chokehold.  This is the band's debut four song demo, which was released on cassette via Slow Death records on July 10th, 2016.  On their debut self-titled demo, Policy Of Truth offer up tracks of raging, ultra-pissed, and aggressive sounding hardcore.  Overall, this is a really solid demo and should not be missed.  Great stuff.  Enjoy!

I know this was already posted back in July, but I received a request to re-post the album and decided to put my thoughts in the mix about the band.  Wanderer is a five piece band from Minneapolis, MN who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Wanderer play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Wanderer can be loosely compared to bands such as Reproacher, Lunglust, Hell Mary, and Torch Runner.  Since forming in 2014, Wanderer have released a split with Grim Light in October of 2014 and a split with Anzio in May of 2015.  Gloom Daze is the band's latest seven song cassette, which was released via Tilde records on May 22nd, 2016.  On Gloom Daze, Wanderer offer up seven tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Gloom Daze makes for a killer listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Herder is a five piece band from De Westereen, The Netherlands who formed in 2010.  Herder play a crushing, vicious, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of doom, sludge, metal, and stoner rock within their sound.  Musically, Herder can be loosely compared to bands such as Lightbearer, Slab Dragger, Old Man Gloom, Amen Ra, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2010, Herder have released a self-titled four song demo in May of 2010, a ten song self-titled LP in June of 2011, a six song EP titled Horror Vacui in September of 2012, a two song 7" titled Doomed in July of 2013, and a ten song LP titled Gods in May of 2014.  Fergean is the band's latest seven song LP, which was released on April 13th, 2016.  On Fergean, Herder offer up seven tracks of oppressive and brutal as fuck sounding doom, sludge, metal, and stoner rock.  Overall, Fergean makes for a killer listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Soggy Creep is a three piece band from Olympia, Washington who formed in 2014.  Soggy Creep play a dark, gloomy, and moody style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, and death rock within their sound.  Musically, Soggy Creep can be loosely compared to bands such as Torture Love, The Estranged, Cult Values, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2014, Soggy Creep have released a four song EP titled Worry Lines in September of 2014 and a six song EP titled Drag The Well in April of 2016.  Shallow Drownings is the band's latest six song EP, which was originally slated to be released on 12" and cassette through Conditions records, but was ultimately put on hold due to the band going on hiatus for an indefinite time.  Shallow Drownings was released digitally via bandcamp on December 31st, 2016.  On Shallow Drownings, Soggy Creep offer up six tracks of really well played dark and moody post punk, punk, and death rock.  Overall, Shallow Drownings makes for a great listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
