Frontierer is a five piece band from Scotland, UK who formed in July of 2011.  Frontierer play a chaotic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and noisecore within their sound.  Musically, Frontierer can be loosely compared to bands such as Converge, Botch, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Carbomb, Vein, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2011, Frontierer have released a seven song LP titled The Collapse in December of 2013, a sixteen song LP titled Orange Mathematics in October of 2015, and a fourteen song LP titled Unloved in July of 2018.  Oxidized is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on October 1st, 2021.  On Oxidized, Frontierer offer up sixteen tracks of chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and noisecore.  Overall, Oxidized makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Holy fuck!  This absolutely rips!  Sectioned are a five piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland who formed in 2012.  Sectioned play an absolutely vicious, chaotic, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, metal, grindcore, and nose core within their sound.  Musically, Sectioned can be loosely compared to bands such as Converge, Cult Leader, Secret Cutter, Nails, Full Of Hell, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2012, Sectioned have released a three song EP titled Monotonne in April of 2012, a five song Ep titled Outlier in February of 2013, and a split with SHRDDR in June of 2014.  Annihilated is the band's debut LP, which was released on April 26th, 2018.  On Annihilated, Sectioned offer up thirteen tracks of absolutely brutal and chaotic as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, metal, grindcore, and noisecore.  Overall, Annihilated makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Boak are a three piece band from Aberdeen, Scotland who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Boak feature members of Filthpact and Dirtdrinker, so just going by that alone, I was really interested in hearing what Boak sounded like because I'm a huge Dirtdrinker.  Boak play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound.  Musically, Boak can be said to be influenced by bands such as Das Oath, Left For Dead, Infest, and modern bands such as Dead In The Dirt.  This is the band's debut six track 7", which was released via Superfi, Wolf Town DIY, Cross Your Heart And Hope To DIY, Attention Deficit Grindcore Disorder, Vleesklak, Square Of Opposition, and Friendly Otter Records on June 1st, 2015.  On their debut 7", Boak tear their way through six songs in about five minutes.  Overall, this EP is insanely brutal and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Clocked Out is a four piece hardcore band from Glasglow, Scotland who formed in 2011.  Clocked Out play a killer style of modern hardcore with absolutely vicious vocals.  Clocked out can be said to be influenced by Clevo-style hardcore played by 9 Shocks Terror, H-100s, as well as bands such as Left For Dead and Haymaker.  Since their inception in 2011, Clocked Out have released a two song self-titled 7" in September of 2011 and a 2nd 7" released in May of 2013.  This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via SuperFi, At War With False Noise, and SPHC records on April 15th, 2015.  On their debut full-length LP, Clocked Out offer up nine tracks of brutal and trashy sounding Clevo-influenced hardcore.  Overall, this album absolutely rages, with the total listening time lasting under 20 minutes.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
