Sentient Divide is a four piece band from Spokane, Washington who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Sentient Divide play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, death metal, and crust within their sound. Musically, Sentient Divide can be loosely compared to bands such as Noose Rot, Gatecreeper, Of Feather And Bone, Mutilation Rites, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Sentient Divide have released a split with Stoic in November of 2016, a three song EP titled Desertification in December of 2016, and a self-titled LP in July of 2017. Bloodgate is the band's latest EP, which was released in cassette format on May 30th, 2018. On Bloodgate, Sentient Divide offer up four tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding black metal, death metal, and crust. Overall, Bloodgate makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
