Vanderwalls is a three piece band from Bend, Oregon who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Vanderwalls play an infectiously catchy style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Vanderwalls can be said to be influenced by bands such as Weezer, Dinosaur Jr., Cheap Girls, Lemonheads, Teenage Fanclub, Pixies, Cracker, and other like-minded bands. This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Forbidden Place records on February 14th, 2021. On their self-titled debut, Vanderwalls offer up ten tracks of catchy as hell and melodic sounding punk, grunge, alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze. Overall, Vanderwalls' debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Senza is a three piece band from Eugene, Oregon who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Senza play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound. Musically, Senza can be loosely compared to bands such as Orchid, Wolves, Ampere, Adobe Homes, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Senza have released a self-titled EP in March of 2015, a self-titled cassette in November of 2016, contributed a track to It's More Like A Homage To You Jerome's Dream compilation in May of 2017, a split with Akira in July of 2017, a split with Antipony in November of 2017, and and a two song EP titled Misornithist in December of 2017. Discography is the band's most recent EP, which essentially collects all of the band's recorded output from their various splits onto one EP. Discography was released as an actual floppy disk via Emocat records on May 5th, 2018. On Discography, Senza offer up seven tracks of chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence. Overall, Discography makes for a great listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Musically, Naux can be said to be influenced by bands such as Walls, Church Whip, No Power, and Gay Kiss. This is the band's debut seven track demo, which was released on June 14th, 2017. On their self-titled debut, Naux offer up seven tracks of raw, filthy, and completely blown out sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and noise rock. Since forming in 2014, Dödläge have released a self-titled ten song EP in March of 2014 and a self-titled ten song 7" in March of 2015. Ritual Slaughter is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Profane Existence records on August 19th, 2016. On Ritual Slaughter, Dödläge offer up sixteen tracks of venomous and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Ritual Slaughter is an amazing album and should not be missed. Pleasure Cross is a Portland, Oregon based band who got their start in 2013, from the looks of things. Pleasure Cross features current and former members of Superbad, Engorged, Basement Animal, Lords of Light, and also features August Alston, who quit singing in Walls to focus his attention on Pleasure Cross. Pleasure Cross play a blistering and caustic style of music that mixes equal parts hardcore, punk, and thrash within their sound. Wait For The End is the band's latest eleven song 12", which was released via Iron Lung records on October 15th, 2014. On their latest offering, Pleasure Cross offer up eleven tracks of blistering and ultra-pissed sounding hardcore, punk, and thrash that's an absolute must listen for fans of Infest, Left For Dead, and Sick/Tired. Here's a killer split LP that I absolutely had to review after hearing late last year. This split LP features 9 new tracks from French screamo veterans Sed Non Satiata and Portland, Oregon's Carrion Spring. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Sed Non Satiata, SNS is a five piece band from Toulouse, France who formed in 2003. Sed Non Satiata play post hardcore and screamo in the traditional sense, meaning that their sound is tense, urgent, yet uplifting and slightly melodic. Musically, Sed Non Satiata can be compared to bands such as Funeral Diner, Amanda Woodward, and Daitro. On their side of the split, Sed Non Satiata offer up four songs of brilliantly executed post hardcore and screamo. The second five songs on the split come courtesy of Carrion Spring. Carrion Spring is a six piece post hardcore/screamo band from Portland, Oregon who formed in 2008. Carrion Spring play a chaotic and dark style of screamo/emoviolence influenced by bands such as Orchid, Ampere, Shotmaker, and You And I. On their side of the split, Carrion Spring offer up five tracks of chaotic and volatile sounding screamo/emoviolence. Overall, this is an amazing split and should not be missed. This album was released via Protagonist Music on December 1st, 2014. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
