Serling is a two piece band from Dover, New Hampshire who formed in 2020, from the looks of things.  Serling play a vicious, chaotic, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, mathcore, and noisecore within their sound.  Since forming in 2020, Serling have released a digital single titled The Obsolete Man in June of 2021 and a digital single titled Time Enough At Last in June of 2021.  The James Bevis Chronicles is the band's debut EP, which was released via Granite Tomb records on August 14th, 2021.  On The James Bevis Chronicles, Serling offer up six tracks of chaotic, volatile, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk metal, mathcore, and grindcore.  Overall, The James Bevis Chronicles makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Great stuff!  Enjoy!

Here's a killer split 7" featuring new songs from MA's Human Bodies and New Hampshire's Leather Chalice.  Human Bodies is a Boston, MA based band who formed in 2013.  Human Bodies features former members of Host and Symptom & Stranger.  Human Bodies play a raw, dirty and ugly as fuck sounding style of punk and crust tinged black metal.  Since their inception in 2013, Human Bodies have released a four song demo in December of 2013, a six song LP titled No Life in August of 2014, and a three song demo in July of 2015.  On their side of the split, Human Bodies offer up two tracks of raw and filthy sounding black metal, punk, and crust.  The second side of the split belongs to Leather Chalice.  Leather Chalice is a New Hampshire based one piece project who formed in 2012, from the looks of things.  Leather Chalice play a similar style of as Human Bodies, which incorporates elements of  black metal, punk, and crust within their sound.  Since their inception in 2012, Leather Chalice have released an eight song LP titled Opiate Supremacy in December of 2012, a three song EP titled Batillions Of Filth in January of 2013, a split with Maljutka in January of 2013, a split 7" with Sump in July of 2014, a ten song LP titled Sweet Perfume Of Coffin Air in June of 2014, a one track cassette titled Luna in June of 2014, and a one song single titled Caught/Leather Chalice in July of 2014.  Each band offers up two songs a piece for this split.  Overall, both bands have absolutely nailed it on this release and offer up four tracks of dirty, filthy, and raw sounding black metal, punk, and crust.  This split 7" was released via Broken Limbs Recordings on September 22nd, 2015.  Overall, this is a killer split 7" and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Host were a five piece band from New Hampshire who existed from 2010-2014.  Host played a scathing, venomous, and brutal as fuck style of blackened, metallic, and crust tinged style of modern hardcore.  Musically, Host can be loosely affiliated with bands such as Baptists, Dead In The Dirt, Centuries, and other like-minded bands.  Since their inception in 2010, Host have released a five song demo in December of 2010, a four track 7" titled There's Nothing Up There But Heavy Clouds in January of 2012, and a split 7" with post rock band KYOTY in January of 2012.  Death Will Claim These Tired Bones was Host's one and only full-length, which was released via Cricket Cemetery and Hydrogen Man records on May 1st, 2014.  On Death Will Claim These Tired Bones, Host offer up eleven tracks of devastatingly brutal hardcore.  Overall, Death Will Claim These Tired Bones was one of my favorite albums of 2014, and is definitely an album you don't want to miss out on.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  On a side note, members of Host can now be seen playing in Human Bodies and Symptom.

Youth Funeral is a four piece band from New Hampshire and Massachusetts who formed in early 2013 from the looks of things.  Youth Funeral play a dynamic, tense, and discordant as fuck sounding style of hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Musically, Youth Funeral can be said to be influenced by bands such as The Saddest Landscape, In First Person, Ampere, Saetia, and You And I.  Since their inception in 2012, Youth Funeral have three releases under their belts that include a five song EP titled Symptom Of Time in September of 2013, a split 7" with Scowler in October of 2014, and their latest six song EP titled See You When I See You, which was released in January of 2015.  On See You When I See You, Youth Funeral offer up six tracks of chaotic and volatile hardcore, punk, and screamo that's an absolute must listen for fans of Black Kites, Weak Teeth, and My Fictions.  Overall, See You When I See Yous is a killer EP and should not be missed.  See You When I See You was released via Twelve Gauge records on January 25th, 2015.  These six songs were recorded, mixed, and mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios, so by going on that alone, you know this is a killer EP.
