Damn.  Cloud Rat is having a very productive year, to say the least  Here's an amazing split featuring new music from Michigan's Cloud Rat and Chicago, Il's Disrotted.  Cloud Rat are a four piece band from Mount Pleasant, Michigan who formed in December of 2009.  I've been a huge fan of Cloud Rat since hearing their self-titled LP back in 2010.  Cloud Rat has continued to grow and expand upon their sound, creating a truly unique take on modern hardcore, punk, and grindcore.  Since their inception in 2009, Cloud Rat have released an eleven track self-titled LP on IFB records in 2010, a split cassette with Xtra Vomit in 2010, a split 7" with Autarkeia in 2011, a 3-way split LP with Oily Menace and Wolbachia in 2011, a thirteen track LP titled Moksha on Halo Of Flies, IFB, React With Protest, 7 Degrees, and React With Protest in January of 2013, a split LP with Republic Of Dreams in 2012, s song for the Monomaniac Volume One 7" compilation in 2012, a song for the No Compromise (Earth First) compilation in 2013, and a split 7" with Orgullo Primitivo in 2014, a 17 track album titled Qliphoth in 2015, a split 7" with Drugs Of Faith in 2015, a split LP with Moloch in April of 2017, and a split 7" with Crevasse in April of 2017.  On their side of the split, Cloud Rat offer up one eighteen minute song of ugly, menacing hardcore, punk, crust, grindcore, and black metal.  The second side of the split belongs to Disrotted.  Disrotted is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2014.  Disrotted play ominous and oppressive style of music that incorporates elements of doom, sludge, black metal, and noise within their sound.  Since forming in 2014, Disrotted have released a self-titled demo in January of 2014, a split with Bog Rot in January of 2014, a split with Anarchus in June of 2015, a four song EP titled Divination in July of 2016, a split with Moloch in May of 2017, a split with IRN in May of 2017, and a split with Ledge in May of 2017.  On their side of one colossal track of depressive and ominous sounding doom, black metal, and sludge.  Overall, this is an amazing split LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy! For fans of Tyvek, Jay Reatard, and The Oblivians.  Estrogen Highs play a dark, tense, and at times psychedelic sounding style of garage rock and punk.  On their side of the LP, Estrogen Highs offer up four tracks of dark and frenetic sounding garage rock tinged punk.  The next five songs on the split come courtesy of Frustrations.  Frustrations is four piece piece punk band from Detroit, Michigan who formed in 2004.  Frustrations play a dark sounding style of punk and garage rock with a killer late 70's vibe.  On their side of the split, Frustrations offer up five tracks of killer garage tinged punk.  Overall, this is a killer split LP and should not be missed.  The LP was released via Safety Meeting records on February 19th, 2016.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

(Repost Request): Fulgora is a four piece band from St. Louis, Missouri who formed in late 2012.  Fulgora features members of  Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Dying Fetus.  Fulgora play brutal as fuck, chaotic, and completely unhinged style of music that seamlessly melds elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore within their sound.  Since their inception in 2012, Fulgora have released a two song 7" titled Risen/Artifice in March of 2013 and a second two song 7" titled Splinter/Crutch in October of 2013.  Stratagem is Fulgora's debut full length LP, which was released via Housecore records on March 23rd, 2015.  On Stratagem, Fulgora offer up seven tracks of savage hardcore, punk, and grindcore that's an absolute must listen for fans of Puig Destroyer, Nails, and Coalesce.  Overall, Stratagem is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Dakhma is a three piece band from Grand Rapids, Michigan who formed in early 2014, from the looks of things.  Dakhma play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of dark, filthy, raw, and ultra heavy style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, punk, grindcore, and crust within their sound.  Dakhma's sound is accentuated by scathing female vocals and eerily dark atmospheric passages that give the band's music a dark and sinister vibe.  Since their inception in 2014, Dakhma have released a seven song EP in March of 2014, as well as a two song EP in February of 2015.  Raze is Dakhma's latest full-length LP, which was released via IFB records on January 10th, 2016.  On their latest LP, Dakhma offer up four tracks of brutal as fuck sounding black metal, punk, grindcore, and crust that's an absolute must listen for fans of Cloud Rat, Cara Neir, and Mutilation Rites.  Overall, Raze is an amazing LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
