Nightmarer is a five piece band from Portland, Oregon who formed in 2016, from the looks of things.  Nightmarer play a raw, ugly, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, death metal, and industrial within their sound.  Musically, Nightmarer can be loosely compared to bands such as Northless, Abstracter, Decoherence, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 20176, Nightmarer have released a two song EP titled Chasm in May of 2016, a ten song LP titled Cacophony Of Terror in March of 2018, and a digital single titled Primordial Grit in April of 2020.  Monolith Of Corrosion is the band's latest EP, which was released via Total Dissonance Worship records on August 27th, 2021.  On Monolith Of Corrosion, Nightmarer offer up three tracks of raw, ugly, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal, death metal, and industrial metal.  Overall, Monolith Of Corrosion makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

chris actually posted these guys last year but i just found them so fuck it, here they are again. this is right up my alley lately. im burying my mom tomorrow. covid. this fits my mood. slow anger. goddammit. later era godflesh is a definite influence. godflesh bless these guys from argentina. maybe it's just whats happened in my family unit over the last few weeks but this album hit me all the right ways. truly cathartic experience.

Here's a killer split EP featuring new material from PA's Squelch Chamber and Cedar Rapids, Iowa's Dead City Soundscape.  Squelch Chamber is a musical project from Pennsylvania who formed in 2019, from the looks of things.  Squelch Chamber play an abrasive and harsh style of music that incorporates elements of noise rock and experimental noise within their sound.  Since forming in 2019, Squelch Chamber have released a digital single titled Martial Law Birthday Party in March of 2020, a ten song EP titled Down So Low in May of 2020, and a three song LP titled Nightmarish in September 2020.  This is the band's latest split EP, which was released via Imploding Sounds records on November 9th 2020.  On their side of the split, Squelch Chamber offer up two tracks of vicious, scathing, abrasive, and harsh sounding noise rock and experimental noise.  The second band on the split is Dead City Soundscape.  Dead City Soundscape is a three piece band from Cedar Rapids, Iowa who formed in 2019, from the looks of things.  Dead City Soundscape play a ugly, harsh, and abrasive style of music that incorporates elements of industrial metal, drone, and harsh noise within their sound.  Since forming in 2019, Dead City Soundscape have released a three song EP titled in Cold Flesh in June of 2020 and a split EP with Stalk Market in October of 2020.  On their side of the split, Dead City Soundscape offer up two tracks of harsh, ugly, and abrasive sounding industrial metal, power electronics, and harsh noise.   Overall, this split EP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

by far one of the best things i've come across lately. the :wumpscut: is strong with this one. reminds me a lot of the "embryodead" album and the "dried blood of gomorrha" comp. very dark electro/industrial. it's only the beginning. i have high hopes for this texas duo. also it's possible that "errorcode" is my song of the year.
