FACS is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2017.  FACS play a tense, moody, and unsettling style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, indie rock, industrial, and experimental noise rock within their sound.  Since forming in 2017, FACS have released an eight song LP titled Negative Houses in March of 2018, a two song EP titled Acteurs Inversion in October of 2018, a six song LP titled Lifelike in March of 2019, a digital single titled In A Memory in March of 2020, a seven song LP titled Void Moments in March of 2020, a digital single titled Alone Without in May of 2020, and a ten song live LP titled Lincoln Hall in October of 2020.  Present Tense is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Trouble In Mind records on May 21st, 2021.  On Present Tense, FACS offer up seven tracks of minimalist, spacey, and tripped out sounding post punk, indie rock, industrial, and experimental noise rock.  Overall, Present Tense makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed,  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

FACS are three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2017.  FACS play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of experimental post punk, post rock, shoegaze, and alt. rock within their sound.  Musically, FACS remind me of a trippy/psychedelic version of Girls Vs. Boys channeled through modern shoegaze.  Since forming in 2017, FACS have released a one song demo titled Houses Breathing in February of 2017, a single track demo titled Primary in February of 2017, a single song demo titled Silencing in May of 2017, an eight song LP titled Negative Houses in March of 2018, and a two song EP titled Acteurs Inversion in October of 2018.  Lifelike is the band's latest LP, which was released via Trouble In Mind records on March 29th, 2019.  On Lifelike, FACS offer up six tracks of killer experimental post punk, post rock, shoegaze, and alt. rock.  Overall, Lifelike makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
