Idles are a five piece band from Bristol, UK who formed in 2016. Idles play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, and noise rock within their sound, Musically, Idles can be loosely compared to bands such as Young Widows, Jesus Lizard, Future Of The Left, So Pitted, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Idles have released a thirteen song LP titled Brutalism in March of 2017, a digital single titled Colossus in May of 2018, a digital single titled Danny Nedelko in June of 2018, a twelve song LP titled Joy As An Act Of Resistance in August of 2018, a two song EP titled Mercedes Marxist in May of 2019, a nineteen song LP titled A Beautiful Thing: Idles Live At Le Bataclan in December on 2019, and a twelve song LP titled Ultra Mondo in September of 2020. Crawler is the band's latest full length LP, which was released via Partisan Records on November 12th, 2021. On Crawler, Idles offer up fourteen tracks of dark, moody, tense, and discordant post punk, punk, grunge, and noise rock. Overall, Crawler makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
