Mourning is a four piece band from Leeds, UK who formed in 2017. Mourning play a killer style of 90's influenced metallic hardcore. Musically, Mourning can be loosely compared to bands such as Axis, Blistered, Incendiary, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Mourning have released a self-titled demo in October of 2017, a two song demo titled Reh. in July of 2018, a five song EP compiling the band's Reh. demo and self-titled demo in October of 2018, a five song demo titled Ecstatic Masochist in August in 2019, and a split EP with Outer Justice in January of 2021. Four Year Of Grief is the band's latest LP, which was released via The Coming Strife Records on June 26th, 2021. Four Years Of Grief compiles all of Mourning's previously recorded material onto one album. On Four Years Of Grief, Mourning offer up fourteen tracks of brutal as fuck sounding metallic hardcore. Overall, Four Years Of Grief makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Great stuff! Enjoy!
